Welcome Baby Clay | Newborn Lifestyle Session on the Farm

There’s a quiet kind of magic that happens during in-home newborn sessions. Everything slows down. The house is filled with new baby snuggles, sleepy sighs, and the joy of brand new beginnings—and baby Clay’s session was all of that and more.

Little Clay is mom and dad’s first baby, I could feel their love and excitement the moment I walked through the door. Clay was just 9 days old, all curled up and content to be having a big meal before his even bigger nap. Watching them soak up every little stretch, every yawn, and every snuggle was so special.

Clay’s nursery was Adorable. A perfect reflection of dad’s love for farming and hunting, and his mom's love of decorating. He had the sweetest tractor accents, his name above his crib in wooden letters, and a rustic, cozy vibe that made the whole space feel like a baby boy’s dream. From antler decor to farm-themed books and the cutest little combine stuffy —it was clear this little guy is already being raised with a love for the land.

Clay’s session was everything I love about lifestyle photography—real, relaxed, and personal. Baby Clay, you are so loved. Dani and Kyle, thank you for inviting me into this beautiful season of your life. What an honor to capture these memories!
