I had the pleasure of first meeting Austin & Abbigail at their botanical garden engagement session. Abby was instantly so warm and bubbly and Austin was beyond friendly but also a little shy. I could tell right away I was going to absolutely love getting to know these two! Abby’s outgoingness is contagious, and she had Austin laughing and at ease in no time, exactly like on their wedding day.

I love early spring weddings, this one being my first of the wedding season, was extra special. Weller’s Carriage House is always stunning, but June weddings here with the gorgeous light and flowers might be some of my favorite.

The day started off a little rainy, but by the time of their wedding ceremony, the sun was glowing just right, casting the most perfect light over the lush gardens and historic charm of the Carriage House. The ceremony aisle is long and beautifully lined with apple trees. Austin, our sweet, shy groom, never took his eyes off his bride-to-be as she made her way to him, absolutely glowing.

As the sun dipped low, guests mingled in the garden, while the newlyweds stole a few quiet moments together for golden hour on the carriage house property. That golden hour light hit just right, and the photos we captured turned out beautiful with so much of the Bride’s and Groom’s personalities showing through. Everyone said Austin never smiles in photos, but his wedding day must have been an exception because he was beaming with laughter and happiness.
